Account Set Up
mobilextension is available to anyone, anywhere – all you need is an email address to get started. To set up a profile, simply click on the Log In button. Creating an account only takes a second so you will be ready to upload your lists and start sharing right away!
Uploading A list
Once you have signed up for an account, you can begin by uploading your lists. There are no restrictions to the content or number of the lists you upload- in multiple formats. Uploaded lists are able to be edited, deleted, and of course, shared at any time.
Mobilizing A List
To mobilize your list, simply provide the name and email addresses of the people you wish to share your list with. Contacts are immediately sent an email alert with a unique security token that will be required to access the shared list.
Synching and Utilizing A List
Recipients of the mobilized list will have the information automatically synched to their mobile device using the unique security token provided by the List Owner (administrator). The list (for example, a distribution list) can now be accessed on the mobile device to be used immediately.
Once a list item is selected to be viewed, all information is displayed and interactive items are enabled such as email, telephone number, address, YouTube video, URL, and Twitter. Interactivity includes features such as automatically calling a number by clicking on a telephone number, or activating map display by clicking an address. Lists can also be searched for quick and easy access to information.
